What level will my gymnast with gymnastics experience be?

If your child is over the age of 6 and has attend 6 months or more of recreational gymnastics classes at another gym we would suggest an evaluation of your gymnast so that they can be placed in the proper level at Gold Cup.  We will only schedule students an evaluation time if they have attend gymnastic class not dance or tumbling classes. Our recreational levels consist of specific skills on all Olympic gymnastics events.

Are your teachers qualified?

Our staff is highly trained in the areas of gymnastics and tumbling. All of our instructors spend many hours training, keeping up with the newest ideas in gymnastics and child development.  Team coaches are pro-members and are safety certified. Read more about our qualified staff here

Can parents watch?

Yes, parents can watch classes in the East gym upstairs in the viewing area. As of August 20 per governor's public health order all spectators must wear a mask in Gold Cup regardless of vaccination status.

What is your ratio of children to coaches?

In our preschool program the ratio is six students to one instructor. In recreational boys and girls it is eight students to one instructor. We may at times go over the student to teacher ratio with our more experienced instructors.

Do you offer a free trial class?

Gold Cup offers 1 free trail class to new students. You must schedule the trial class in our parent portal 24 hours in advance. We reserve your spot in the class only until the end of the next day. To keep the spot in the class you must log into the parent portal and re select the class. It may tell you that it is going to put you on waiting list but once we receive the notification in the office we will make the class active.  We will then charge our annual registration fee and monthly tuition at the end of the trial class.  If you have waited more than the 24 hour period your spot is no longer held and someone could have taken that spot.
